York Homecoming
York Homecoming is a celebration of the founding of York, which was April 6, 1881 and known at the time as York Station. It is the Saturday closest to April 6th, April 5, 2014, and is held in downtown York and Historic Avenue A. There will be some good ‘ol Southern food, craft vendors, and local entertainment.

Christmas on the Tracks
Celebrate Christmas in York Saturday, December 10th from 9 am to 4 pm on 1st Avenue in downtown York. It is a community event for everyone to enjoy so bring your chair! There will be Downtown Merchant Specials including a York Station Merchant Ticket free prize drawing for local shoppers; Santa Claus; York Station holiday cookie and cupcake baking contest; food, gift, and demonstration vendors & booths; Christmas music; and Kids’ Christmas painting booth.
