BLACK BELT TREASURES IS HOG WILD FOR ART
Annual Spring Arts Festival
Camden, Alabama – Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center (BBTCAC) will host its annual Hog Wild for Art Festival on Saturday, May 6 , 2017, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, featuring kids art activities, demonstrations by artists and craftsmen from across the Black Belt region of Alabama, short adult/teen art workshops throughout the day, outdoor games, and face-painting. This event is held in cooperation with the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce’s 7th Annual Mark Curl Memorial BBQ Cook Off in historic downtown Camden.
Throughout the day, demonstrations will be given by several of BBTCAC’s artists in basket-weaving, quilting, painting, pottery, and more. In addition to the artist’s demonstrations, face painter Sharon Bumpers will be available to paint her intricate and beautiful artwork on the faces of children, while youth of all ages will have the opportunity to create pig themed artworks and play a variety of outside games and activities.
Activities and demonstrations by artists will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 3:00 pm at BBTCAC located at 209 Claiborne Street in historic downtown Camden.
