Hog Wild for Art Festival 2020

BLACK BELT TREASURES IS HOG WILD FOR ART – Annual Spring Arts Festival Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center (BBTCAC) will host its 10th Annual Hog Wild for Art Festival on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. This year’s festival will feature demonstrations by artists and artisans from across the Black Belt region of Alabama, kids art activities, “make and take” activities and more. This event is held in cooperation with the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce’s tenth Annual Mark Curl Memorial BBQ Cook Off and the Wilcox ArtWorks Juried Art Show in historic downtown Camden. Throughout the day, demonstrations will be given by several of BBTCAC’s artists, face painter Sharon Bumpers will be available to paint her intricate and beautiful artwork on the faces of children, while youth of all ages will have the opportunity to create pig themed art (clay, painting, printmaking, jewelry, sewing) and play a variety of outside games and activities. A Pig Parade will take place around noon, led by our own “Pablo PIGasso!” Activities and demonstrations by artists will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 3:00 pm at BBTCAC located at 209 Claiborne Street in historic downtown Camden. A limited number of T-Shirts featuring BBTCAC’s own “Pablo Pigasso” will also be available during the event.
