Historic Selma Pilgrimage

Spring Pilgrimage offers visitors a chance to experience hands-on history through guided tours of antebellum homes, museums, and more. Enjoy Selma’s special blend of Southern graces and historic places as you tour Alabama’s largest historic district. Visitors enjoy taking time to see many other venues such as Brown Chapel AME Church and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where lunch was served on Saturday; Sturdivant Hall, Old Depot, Vaughan-Smitherman and Selma Interpretive Center museums, 1860’s gristmill, Selma Art Guild and Alabama Plein Air artists’ sale plus the ArtsRevive juried arts exhibition and sale which featured Alabama artists.
Tickets, both package and individual, may be purchased at the Vaughan-Smitherman Museum, 109 Union Street at Alabama Avenue from 8:30-4:00 on March 18 and 19.
