Grove Hill – Pioneer Day and Storytelling

Living History event featuring costumed reenactors, demonstrations and more. Alston-Cobb House and Mathews Log Cabin open for tours. Live Music. 1800’s children’s games and activities, homemade baked goods and outdoor campfire cooking. The storytelling legacy of Kathryn Tucker Windham is honored by telling and with listening to stories of folklore and oral history indigenous to the towns and towns’ people where the events are held. For more information call 334.637.3146. Free admission.
