Robert Gardner’s Farm Campsite is located at the intersection of US Highway 80, East and Frederick Douglass, which was previously known as Caffery Road, in Burkeville, Lowndesboro, AL. On March 23, 1965, the Voting Rights Marchers camped on this property owned by Mr. Robert Gardner. This was the third campsite on their march, following the Rosie Steele Farm Campsite.
