The Ancient Africa Enslavement & Civil War Museum was developed to educate & uplift schools, communities, and individuals of all ages by interpreting the history of African people from Antiquity through slavery and The Civil War in creative ways. The museum states their primary purpose as: to present an informed depiction of the African American experience that would serve to unite and empower people to maximize their cultural, social, and academic development. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $4 for children.
