Roland Cooper State Park, located six miles northeast of Camden in Alabama’s Black Belt, features spacious vacation cottages; modern campground with bathhouse, laundry and camp store and a scenic picnic area with tables, grills, pavilions and a comfort station. Located on 22,000-acre Dannelly Reservoir in Wilcox County, this 236-acre park features a nine-hole golf course with clubhouse, spacious vacation cottages, modern campground with bathhouse, laundry and camp store, and a scenic picnic area with tables, grills, pavilions and comfort station.

Millers Ferry Campground located on the William Dannelly Reservoir at Millers Ferry, AL. It is a beautiful park that is maintained by the US Army Corp of Engineers. The park features an array of campsites and group picnic shelters, boat ramp, courtesy docks, playgrounds, and bank fishing. A swimming beach is located within walking distance.

Take a two mile ferry ride to Gees Bend and enjoy the rich history of the area where the world famous Gees Bend Quilters reside. Along the way, enjoy the natural beauty along the river and keep your eyes open for a variety of birds.
