Tatum Creek
Alabama’s Finest Deer Hunting
Located in the heart of the famous Black Belt Region in Central Alabama, Tatum Creek Hunting Camp offers a great Alabama Whitetail Deer Hunt on over 6,000 acres of intensively managed and family owned property. We are unique in the fact that we manage deer year round with several hundred acres of soybeans and corn to ensure quality bucks each and every season here in Alabama. All Alabama Deer Hunts with Tatum Creek are under the direction of a qualified wildlife biologist and have been on trophy management for over thirteen years.
We harvest only mature bucks that are at least 4-1/2 years of age, and take a limited number of deer hunters each season. This keeps our success rate very high. We hunt no more than eight to ten persons at a time and pride ourselves on personal attention. We have a brand new camp house where we specialize in old-fashioned Southern hospitality and great country cooking. For your ultimate Alabama whitetail deer hunting experience, join with our Seasoned Guides who will put every effort into your Alabama deer hunt.

The family still has the farm under operation with cattle and hay. The Ocmulgee Creek runs right through the property so you may find time to do a little fishing for spirited bass or catfish. This will be the first year (2010) Fuller Farm Hunting Preserve will be opened to the public. You can have a relaxing stay at the hunting lodge sits on the bank of the beautiful Ocmulgee Creek and is nestled among towering trees. The lodge offers 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, sleeps 10, and open room with fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and 90 foot porches and down home cooking at its finest. We offer our very own processing house for prized game. There are shooting houses on green fields as well as ladder stands on hardwood bottoms. Your day will begin with a down home breakfast in plenty of time for you to be positioned in your stand well before daylight. Just prior to noon, you will be picked up and returned to the lodge for more of that down home cooking. You can relax with a short nap and return to a greenfield for the afternoon hunt.
